Massage Therapy
We offer Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Sports massage and combinations of all of the above. 60 minutes…90 minutes…120 minutes.

Cupping Therapy
Cupping is a Traditional Chinese treatment that uses suctioned glass cups on the skin. Cupping is excellent for reducing back and neck pain, improving circulation and digestion, and reducing muscle spasms and stress. This treatment is also used to improve the body’s ability to ward off a cold and expel phlegm once a cold has set in. Cupping is typically combined with an acupuncture treatment, but may be done alone.

Chinese Herbal Medicine
When indicated, chinese herbs are prescribed and will enhance the effects of acupuncture treatment. Traditional Chinese Herbology is both a complex science as well as an intricate art form. Each formula can be tailored specifically for each patient’s individual constitution and condition. Unlike most western medications and used as directed, chinese herbal medicine has a remarkable low risk of adverse side effects. It is important to acknowledge that Chinese and Western medicine are not substitutes for one another, rather they are complimentary.

Payment Options
Payment at the time of service is required. Cash, check, Visa, Master Card and American Express are accepted.

Insurance
Many health insurance companies cover acupuncture treatment. We are happy to verify coverage for you. We are not contracted directly with any insurance companies which make us “out of network” Providers. In this case, payment is due at the time that services are rendered. We can provide you with an invoice or “Superbill” which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy
In order to maintain the integrity of our practice, Golden Valley Acupuncture Center asks that all cancellations be made within at least 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time. Failure to do so will result in your account being charged the full price of the visit. This allows us the opportunity to make that time available for another patient.
