I came to Lauren having no experience with acupuncture, looking for help with sciatic nerve pain and mostly with fertility support. Having been diagnosed several years ago with high FSH and low AMH, our daughter was born in 2015 with IVF assistance and, when I came to see Lauren, we were planning to start trying for baby no. 2 and preparing to go through IVF again. With my diagnosis and about to turn 40, the idea that I would ever conceive naturally was not something I believed would happen. I was really focused on improving my chances of success with IVF. I began acupuncture treatments with Lauren in March 2016, along with a regimen of supplements and Chinese herbs that Lauren put together for me. Along the way, I was amazed by the positive effects of the treatment on my body and overall wellbeing. The treatments put me into such a relaxed zone and my body began to feel more balanced. And Lauren was always available to answer my many, many questions as we went along. In late July 2016, I was preparing to begin injectables for an IVF cycle. And then, to my complete and total shock, I found out that I am pregnant naturally. Even as I write this, I still can hardly believe it. I am continuing treatments with Lauren through my first trimester and she is as attentive and knowledgeable about this phase of my journey as she has been from day 1. Lauren is one of the most supportive and healing people I have met and I am forever grateful for her dedication to me as her patient and her knowledge of the body and how to help it heal. She has a presence and energy about her that makes her incredibly easy to talk to and to trust. I will never question the amazing effects of acupuncture and believe that anyone, especially people undergoing fertility treatments, should absolutely consider Lauren as a partner in their journey.
